The Proposal
As Tim woke up on a rainy September day in Copenhagen, his long thought out plans for the perfect outdoor proposal were ruined... but not to worry, a few days earlier Nat had mentioned a famous restaurant in the city that she had always dreamed of visiting. Tim thought doing lunch at this place would be a pretty good place to start, so he surprised her at her university and they rode their bikes to the Price Bros. Restaurant in downtown Copenhagen.
Tim hid the ring in his coat, and it wasn't until after the meal that they both wandered next door to explore a grand old ballroom that happened to be in the same building. Once they stood at the top of the ballroom stairs, knowing that Nat adores chandeliers, Tim bent down on one knee and asked her to marry him in as fluent Danish as he could muster!
She was blown away, and after that moment the rest is history! ❤️
In this very ballroom at Price Brothers Restaurant in Copenhagen, Tim went down on one knee! And in a calm, warm, focused voice, he asked Natalie in Danish, to be his forever.
Blown away by Tim's accurate, almost-fluent Danish, Nat happily let out her response...
SHE SAID "JA!!!"
Tim knows just what Nat likes in a ring! Great choice!
No matter the distance - love overcomes all!
