FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Ideally we would like all RSVP's by September 6th...and we also realize that's not a lot of notice for everyone, so we're extending our deadline to September 12th! Thank you for your flexibility!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're asking for semi-formal attire in the neutral or warm color schemes. Think brunch garden-party, whimsical, boho-chic vibes!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guest arrival begins promptly at 11am! We have a limited amount of time for both the ceremony and reception, so we are asking for all guests to arrive with enough time to say hello and find their seats by 11:30am.

Question

How will parking be handled?

Answer

The Dixboro Project offers valet service for any and all guests. Parking is free and located directly in front of the venue with just a short walk from the parking lot to the main entrance.

Question

What's the bar situation?

Answer

While the Bride and Groom will not be drinking alcohol, we respect your desire to do so if you so choose. Our venue will have a fully-stocked bar with beer/wine/cocktails available for individual purchase. We will be providing a complimentary champaign toast in addition to complimentary non-alcoholic drink selections.

Question

What about the FOOD?

Answer

Bring your appetites! Food is one of those magical things that allows people from all walks of life to come together and create new and cherished memories for years to come. We want to share this experience with you in every way possible, which is why we worked hard with the Chef and Management team at The Dixboro Project to curate a menu with a wide variety of unique and delicious items. While guests will not be ordering their own individual meals, we tried to be conscientious of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, so there should be a little something for everyone. The reception meal will be served family-style, meaning items will arrive as-prepared, with one dish meant to be shared for every two-four people. If you have specific allergy-related concerns, please reach out to the Bride or Groom privately.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kiddos! Little ones feeling antsy? We get it! There is a beautiful lawn-space and creek surrounding the venue that guests are welcome to explore.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find our Registry right here on our website, thanks to Zola! While physical gifts are always greatly appreciated, we are also asking guests to consider putting their gift towards our honeymoon or home-renovation funds, or make a donation to one of the featured charities on our registry.
