When Should I Arrive?

Answer

Be sure to give yourself extra time to park, enter the hotel, and make your way to the Solana Foyer for our ceremony. We will begin promptly at 5pm.

Where can I park?

Answer

Since our venue is located in downtown San Antonio, most parking will not be free. Valet parking is available at the Thompson hotel entrance and includes in-and-out privileges for $52 per day. Other options include the D. Scott Lot at 211 Lexington for $12 per day or Parking at the Tobin Center Garage for $15. Consider being dropped off and picked by a reisehare service (Uber or Lyft) if you're staying at a different hotel.

What should I Wear?

Answer

Dress to impress in cocktail attire. Please leave the jeans and shades of white at home. Our ceremony and reception will be inside, out of the Texas summer heat.

Do I have a Plus One?

Answer

Yes, we accounted for one additional guest for every unmarried adult invited. Be sure to let us know on your RSVP card if your plus one will be attending. Thank you.

What's an Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

We strongly ask that guests put away cell phones, cameras, and any other devices to be present with us during our ceremony. Don't worry our photographers will capture all the special moments during this time. Feel free to take photos and videos during the reception.

Where is the After Party?

Answer

For adults 21+ years old, we invite you to join us for our after party at the Thompson's rooftop bar and lounge: The Moon's Daughter located on the 20th floor. Please let the host know you're with the Thompson Wedding upon your arrival.
