Forced to sit next to each other during our freshman year of high school, due to same last initial, we never said a word to each other for almost four months!!!! We never even looked at each other with the exception of the occasional sideways glance when the other person wasn't paying attention. Neither one of us thought we would have a chance to date the other one because we thought they were just too out of our league. During the last two months of school is when we really started to look for the other person outside of the classroom.
The last couple months of freshman year would turn out to be the most memorable time for the two of us to date. All Lyndsey had to do to get Tim's attention was ask for a pencil. Turns out all she wanted to do was throw it at a friend. The shared laughter almost got us in trouble for disrupting the class but it was enough that we found ourselves looking for the other person outside of the classroom. He looked for her while riding bikes with friends and she looked for him while walking her dogs. One of the friends that Tim was out biking with ran off to ask Lyndsey if she would ever date Tim. Of course she said yes although she was very confused.
Even though we separated in high school we managed to stay friends and reconnect after graduation for a dinner on Valentine's Day. This would be the start to something that we never imagined possible. Red Robin would forever become our anniversary spot all because we ordered the same meal that night without even thinking. Fast forward another three years, we planned our first vacation together to the Bahamas. We realized we could stand each others company for an entire week and decided that moving in together would not be the worst decision ever.
After living together for four years and one move to Madison later, Tim FINALLY got the guts to ask her to marry him on her birthday. After almost strangling him from excitement she proudly wears the ring and shows it off to everybody. We are both ecstatic and slightly terrified for what is to come after this chapter in our life ends and a new one begins. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported and loved us through the years. We look forward to sharing our special day with you.
