What is the dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors at sunrise in the mountains. Please dress polished yet comfortable. Suggested colors: Wine, berry, burgundy, greens, black, cream Please avoid bright colors, denim, and white. Layers encouraged for the morning chill: shawls, wraps, light jackets, or blazers.

Where should I stay? Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block reserved for our guests. You can use the link under the 'Travel' tab. We recommend booking early — June is a popular time in the Greenville/Brevard area. The hotel is an easy drive from Pretty Place, and staying there makes it simple for everyone to travel up the mountain together in the morning.

Is there parking at Pretty Place?

Answer

Yes. Pretty Place has on-site parking directly next to the chapel. Because the roads are narrow and the drive is steep and winding, we recommend arriving early and giving yourself extra time to park. Carpooling is encouraged, and please be prepared for limited cell service as you get closer to the chapel.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony and keep phones tucked away. We want everyone to be fully present, and our photographer will capture the moment beautifully.

Will children be attending?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but due to travel logistics and the nature of our wedding events, we’ve decided to make our celebration adults-only. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy a special weekend with us. Thank you for understanding!
