FAQs

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Well-supervised children are welcome for the full ceremony and reception. Your children should be available in your party when you RSVP. If you run into any issues, please let us know!

Question

I have mobility issues. Is the venue accessible for me?

Answer

Yes! The venue is two stories with an elevator, although the elevator does require venue staff to run it.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

The RSVP tab of the website will let you RSVP for you and your party! If you have any issues, please contact us.

Question

I have dietary restrictions or allergies, how will those be handled?

Answer

Final dinner menu is yet to be determined. However, our caterer has assured us that they can work with dietary restrictions or allergies up to a couple days before the event. If you think it will be a particularly difficult to handle restriction, please let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no strict dress code. We would describe the event as "semi-formal". Please "look nice". The wedding party colors will be purple and dark green, so if you wish to use those colors as accents, feel free!

Question

I'd like to stay in Downtown Madison to see the city. What are my options?

Answer

You are welcome to find other lodging arrangements. However, please note that the weekend of the 11th is UW Graduation weekend, so it may be very difficult to find anything in the city.

Question

I bought something off your registry elsewhere, how do I mark that?

Answer

If you select an item by clicking on "buy at <X website>", you can then mark it as "I bought this already" and it will be handled!

Question

The price for one of your registry items is different on its website than on your registry. What gives?

Answer

Several websites will adjust their prices week to week or even day to day for various reasons or sales. That was the price for it when we added it. We're not sure how they fluctuate.

Question

Why does the RSVP page say "1 of 3 events" and I am only RSVPing to one?

Answer

When we set up the event schedule, we marked the different start times for the sections of the day. Because all parts of our wedding are going to be in the same venue, there's no need to RSVP separately like there would be for a wedding at multiple venues.
