ROOT'S Country Market & Auction, Inc

Root's is a farmers market that Katy would go to with her dad! There are a bunch of different stalls here, many fresh produce as well as baked goods! If you are interested in seeing some Amish, this is a great place to go because they quiet a few stalls. I would highly recommend getting a Raspberry lemonade and a Whoopie Pie!

Central Market

If you want to get a taste of Lancaster, this is a great place to go! At Central Market, many of Lancaster's small businesses come and sell their goods!

Lancaster City Visitor Center

Tanger Outlets Lancaster

This might be Tim's favorite place ;) For those coming from the UK, bring an empty suitcase and go shopping here!

Turkey Hill Overlook Trail

If you are looking to get into the outdoors, this is a great trail to walk which will give you an amazing view over the Susquehanna!

Northwest River Trail

This trail is a staple for when Tim and Katy come back to visit family in the US! It stretches over 30 miles along the Susquehanna River so there are some amazing views!

Mt. Gretna Lake & Beach

This is a great place to go if you are looking to beat the summer heat! It is a lake where there is a beach, high dives, swings, kayaks, canoes and a great ice cream shop before you head home!

Rachel's Cafe & Creperie

One of the best restaurants in Lancaster! This is Katy's favorite place to come with her mom or friends when she comes back!

Shank's Tavern

A true American Bar!

Smith's Hotel & Bar

This is a great American dive! Order a sub, Yuengling... called a 'lager' and feel like a true Pennsylvanian!

S. Clyde Weaver Inc

If you need some groceries while visiting, this is a great place to come for BBQ stuff! The chicken grillers are our favorite!

This is a fun bar which has a great roof top bar that overlooks the city! Tim and Katy have had many good times here with Katy's friends!

A great trail if you are looking to get outside! This goes right by a bunch of farms as well so you can see some cows, chickens and even some pigs!

Columbia

This is Katy's hometown where you can do anything from grab a coffee & breakfast, antique or even kayak up the Susquehanna!

If you are interested in finding out more about the Amish community, this is a great tour!
