FAQs

Question

Will there be parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking. Our venue has a good number of paved parking spaces, including a limited number of Handicap accessible spaces. There are additional gravel lots for overflow parking.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please keep in mind Chattanooga traffic and plan accordingly! We recommend arriving 30 minutes early. This will allow ample time to find parking, drop off your potluck contribution with our food coordinators at the reception entrance, and make your way to your seat for the ceremony. We will be starting the ceremony promptly at 6 PM.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The current plan is for the ceremony to be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. We will keep an eye on weather conditions and make a decision closer to the wedding.

Question

What will dinner be like?

Answer

As you know, our dinner will be a potluck. We have specifically tasked some of our guests with bringing hearty, colorful, creative entree salads to share. Have no fear, these are not your ordinary side salads! Our vision is to celebrate the abundance of summer seasonal produce while also giving our guests a variety of fresh flavors and options to try! Especially with the wedding taking place in June, we wanted to give our guests an abundance of options that felt lighter and refreshing as opposed to the heavy, warm dishes that are traditionally found at a potluck. We have also asked other guests to bring hearty breads or delicious desserts that will be shared as well. Our hope is for our guests to leave our reception with full bellies and even fuller hearts.

Question

Why is the dinner a potluck?

Answer

While this may not be a "traditional" approach to a wedding dinner, potlucks are a shared value for both of us. So many of our fondest memories and fundamental moments in our journeys have happened around a shared table with our communities. Having a potluck was one of the first things we agreed upon as we started wedding planning. We hope that our guests embrace this experience and enjoy the abundance of our shared communities.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual. Think dresses or jump suits, slacks and button up shirts, no tie required. No jeans or shorts or flip flops, but no need to buy anything fancy. Something to consider is that the wedding will take place in June in Chattanooga.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your guest's name was not included in the invite, we unfortunately cannot accommodate your plus-one at this time. We kindly ask that no additional guests be brought to the event.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children. Unfortunately, due to space limitations at our venue, if your child or children were not listed on your invitation or in the RSVP form, we can not accommodate them at this time. We hope you’ll understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can - the latest deadline for accepting RSVPs is May 1st, 2025.

For all the days along the way
