Tim and Jaimie were brought together by mutual friends completely unexpectedly. Jaimie was invited to a barbecue at the Pace residence with no comment about meeting anybody new. Tim had some heads up that something was going on as he was told to make sure he brought his car and that it was clean. Tim would later find out that he was told to do this because his car was an Acura and Jaimie also owned and love Acuras. The two were quickly introduced by Nate Pace, with an introduction something along the lines of “Jaimie, this is Tim. He has Acuras too!” The night continued with yard games, food and a fire, while every interaction of both Tim and Jaimie’s was assessed to see if any sparks were made. Both Tim and Jaimie are fairly shy so naturally, the night came to a close with not a whole lot of contact. A few weeks later, Jaimie receives a Facebook Message from none other than, Tim Farrell. The message reads “Hey I just met you, this is crazy but Sunday Mariners maybe?” Tim thought, well if she can’t laugh at being asked out to Carly Rae Jepsen, then it won’t work out! Jaimie wasn’t quite sure how to respond to this message thought maybe Tim had been day drinking and genuinely thought this was a Taylor Swift song, but thankfully, she said yes! We are forever thankful for our friends who brought us together. Special shout out to Nate, Misty, Alex and Olivia. The last 3 years have been nothing short of amazing and if it weren’t for the friendships we have, we’d be missing out on our forever person. We have selected our closest family and friends to celebrate our big day with because it wouldn’t be the same without you all!

Tim had been planning what he thought would be a perfect Christmas morning for a while. He had planned a morning where Jaimie was opening presents and then saw a card in the tree with her name on it. The card was supposed to read about how she was so important to Tim and how she meant the world to him and he couldn't imagine his life without her. At the bottom there was instructions that her main present was outside. She would go to the porch where he would "pop the question" and there would be tears and happiness. Most of that plan went how it was supposed to, but it wouldn't be life if everything went according to plan. Jaimie asks a lot of questions so trying to keep a secret from her is not easy. To help set up the surprise Tim told Jaimie that her present was big and needed to be opened outside. Naturally Jaimie thought he was getting her a stove for Christmas. For a few weeks Tim and Adriana had been planning the best way to get Jaimie out on the porch so Adriana could get the moment on camera. When Adriana arrived, Tim set the plan in motion. Tim said he needed to go get something from Jer's house and he attempted to tell Jerry what he was about to do. Jerry was trying to make breakfast for the cats and was immediately in a panic to be able to see the moment. When Tim made it back to the house Jaimie was frying bacon. Tim told her that it was time for her to open her present. Slightly annoyed Jaimie said she needed to keep making breakfast. Tim persisted and got her to stop frying bacon and open the card. Being stubborn, Jaimie had decided it was a perfect morning to remain in PJ's with messy hair. Jaimie opened the card and walked outside. Tim asked her to marry him and showed her the ring. Jaimie was instantly crying and slammed the box shut, gave it back to him and hugged him. She had said yes before giving it back. All the while, Adriana got the moment on camera and Jer was holding a chicken to be able to make the dogs breakfast after. It was perfect.
