Getting to the Loeb Boathouse

Central Park is closed to traffic, so we recommend entering the park by foot at 72nd St and 5th Ave (a 5 minute walk to the Boathouse). When you reach Park Drive North, make a right and the Boathouse will be 1/4 of a mile up on the left side. Alternatively, the Boathouse also offers a shuttle which makes stops on 5th Ave (at 72nd and 80th St). The shuttle will start running at 5:20pm. To get to the shuttle, we recommend Uber or the subway (6 Train to 77th St station). If you are driving, we recommend parking at the Metropolitan Museum parking garage (80th St & 5th Avenue).
