Short Story: We met in college. He was Math Ed and I was English Ed. Long Story: $2 Tuesday at Harpos--syllabus week of our senior year-- he came up to me and said "Hey! We have a class together!" I pretended that I recognized him (It was the first week of class, sorry!) and we really hit it off. However, a third party intervened and convinced me to move on. Tim backed off and did not attempt any moves until months later, I received a facebook message asking for my number. Oof. I wasn't feeling the facebook message so I gave him my number and told him we could be friends :/. The next day in class, he wouldn't even look at me and I could. not. take. it. So I told him that we should still talk. Which led to an epic first date of endless talking and rap battles in the car and there was no going back.

We were in Columbia for a home football game day-- the game ended (Tigers won)--and I was mentally set on a post game nap but he insisted that we start our anniversary date night immediately. It was 2:30pm! What the heck! Tim took me back to campus and we reminisced on all the memories in the college of Ed library, our first class together, our first date, hangouts by the Columns, but then? I had no clue where we were heading. He proposed in Peace Park right outside of campus to add another memory spot to our list and I lowkey forgot to say yes until prompted because I was so excited. We then headed to Tim's mom's house where our family and friends were waiting for us with an awesome engagement party. Good job Tim:)
