Maid of Honor
This girl has been by my side since the beginning of time. All 26 years of it! Our moms were best friends so it was inevitable for "Loo" and I to follow in their shoes. Even though 2000+ miles separate us and ruined our childhood bucket list, its like not a day has passed when we have a chance to catch up. She got me through school and I kept her out of trouble....most of the time. Let’s just say, one mom couldn’t handle both of us. I couldn't go through the biggest day of my life without her by my side.

I don’t have sisters but this lady right here has been my “big sister” for as long as I can remember. From taking me shopping, teaching me to drive, to weekend sleepovers and getting McDonalds McGriddles, hash browns, and orange juice on the way to church on Sundays. She played a major role in who I am today and guided me through those rough teenage years. She’s always up for an adventure, even if we end up lost on top of a mountain, in the dark, with no cell service....no biggie, just made for good memories!

You ever have those people who you just click with right away and it’s like you’ve known them all your life? Marina is one of them. It all started when I needed a ride from the airport when I went down to Phoenix 3 years ago. Let’s just say, neither of us knew what we were getting ourselves into. If I ever need a boost of positivity, she never lets me down.

I’m not sure when or where we met. Feels like I’ve known her forever. What I do know is that if Sandy and I lived in the same state no one would ever see us because we would be out on adventures whenever we weren’t working. We are constantly learning how much we are alike and I’m pretty sure if we were biological sisters, neither of our moms could handle both of us.

My midnight Dutch run buddy! Jac is my back up sidekick and is the one that keeps me sane with working for her hubby. I lived with her for a year and couldn’t have been more thankful for our late night shenanigans and laughter that woke up the rest of the family. Even tho when she knew I was on a diet would make fresh brownies and leave them by my door, I love my big sister!! She has been through so much and even with everything going on we’re always up for our late night Dutch and Target run girl nights!

We all need that one person in life that makes us seem like we’re really not that crazy. For those of you who know Amber...you know what I mean. But we wouldn’t have her any other way! She definitely keeps you on your toes. I have to thank Kyle for bringing Amber into my life...since he’s the one that drug her to Idaho all the way from Georgia. But she’s always there for me no matter what and I can always count on her for a good laugh and a massive hug!

I met Bill 16 years ago. 15 1/2 years ago we became roommates. We grew close between late night ping pong battles, midnight snacks...sadly it was a bit rocky due to his massive couch collection and my bacon and tater-tot hoarding. We were bachelors, what do you expect! Then a girl came into his life, he got married and chose to leave me in the dust. Then of course after the first couple years of marriage he needed reasons to leave the house, sooo we then rekindled our friendship.

John is a person no one can forget! 16 years ago his big handshake and big personality left an imprint on me that stands to this day. He’s one that will always make time for you no matter how busy he is or how many kids he’s chasing round. Plus when you both have love for fishing and food, you are friends for life.

Outside of our mutual love for the outdoors, Kyle is one that makes talking about anything super easy. Even when that means staying up till 3am swapping fishing stories knowing you have to be up and out the door at 7.

My dune buddy! Took him for his first ride on his own quad as a teenager and haven’t been able to get him to stop pestering me about getting out and goin for a “quick rip” at the dunes since! I guess I have my own self to blame but it’s sure been fun watching him grow up and get more confident out on his own. Sand therapy multiple times a year is necessary for both of us, so hopefully we can continue that trend into the future.

Met Nick 16 years ago for a church meeting in Idaho. Back then he was a bachelor and in staying at his house we learned quickly that we both had highly competitive spirits and loved our junk food. We’ve had many debates over the years over food and anything else that may be a difference of opinion. Now that I’m moving to Boise, this friendly rivalry is about to get interesting. Can we stay friends? To be continued...
