In the magical land of Sacramento, CA, love was born of friendship and cargo pants.

******** Way back in 2011, a plucky young gent from Philadelphia and a pretty lady from Charlotte needed to figure out what to do after college. Naturally, they both uprooted their lives and traveled 3,000 miles cross-country to do community service work in the fertile, seasonless pastures of the paradise that is.....Sacramento, CA. It was no surprise that their adventurous gap-year would result in a powerful bond, but neither could have imagined that the friendship would evolve into a love so life-changing and wonderful! So much has happened in the eight years leading up to pending wedlock. The friendship started with binge-watching terrible sci-fi, late night stumbling at drive-thrus for *amazing* burritos, and talking through the wee hours about life, hopes, and what the world could be. When the time came for California dreaming to end, a single kiss on the top of her head sprouted the buds of a long distance relationship. They traded visits as often as possible, savoring any time they could share together. They braved Greyhound buses and the Trenton "airport" to steal precious moments walking Kelly Drive on the most perfect spring day, or chugging Cheerwine outside of Lexington BBQ. Eventually, she agreed to move to Philly and their fates were sealed! Flash forward to a hot summer day in Asbury Park, when Corey politely, lovingly indulged Tim's latest art and/or craft. This time: origami! Tolerance quickly turned to bewilderment, then joyous sobs, as Corey found a ring inside his clumsily folded paper heart. She, of course, said "ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?!?!" and, eventually, "YES"! ******** We are so excited to invite y'all to this wedding eight years in the making!
