We recommend flying into Bradley International Airport (BDL), which is often more affordable and convenient than Boston Logan. Amherst Center is about a 45-minute drive from Bradley, and rental cars are available at the airport.

Boston Logan (BOS)
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is also an option, especially for guests who prefer more flight options. Amherst Center is about a 2-hour drive from Logan, depending on traffic, so we recommend renting a car if you fly into Boston.
Train
Amtrak to Northampton
For guests traveling from New Haven, NYC, Philly, Baltimore, D.C., or anywhere along the Amtrak route, we strongly recommend taking the Amtrak Vermonter line to Northampton. It’s a convenient ride, and Northampton is right next to Amherst Center — and a wonderful place to visit in its own right.
