Tim and Elizabeth were introduced by Elizabeth’s younger, but very wise cousin Braxton Mosley. On February 25, 2023 Elizabeth’s Mom, Braxton, and Elizabeth were sitting at the kitchen table playing rummy when he said he knew of someone who Elizabeth needed to meet and he thought they would make a nice match and hit it off. Braxton texted (and called Tim) right then and there. Tim and Elizabeth began messaging and first met in person on April 5, 2023 and definitely felt an immediate high level of comfort and made a fast connection and began long-distance dating. For their first couple of dates they met in Sevierville for dates. They went to Forbidden Caverns, Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, Thomas Kincaid Gallery, and can’t forget belt shopping for Tim a new belt! In Oak Ridge they visited the Children’s Museum, went bowling, to the movies, and dinner at Calhoun’s. And they went hiking in Frozenhead Park to a beautiful waterfall. Tim was wonderful and understanding when dating many times meant dates spending time at Elizabeth’s Mom’s house talking, playing games, or watching movies or television. He even came over to the Cozy Cottage to help with projects at Elizabeth Mom’s house. It was very clear to them both that this was the start of something very good and beautiful and they began to feel confident that God brought them together. On February 25, 2024, one year after they first texted with each other, they were going for a walk/hike at Roane Park and Tim suggested that they get off the paved path and walk the wooded trail. Elizabeth was completely and pleasantly surprised when she turned around on the trail and saw that Tim was down on one knee and ready to propose! It was a precious moment, beautiful memory and perfectly romantic proposal! Now as we plan our wedding, we know we are in God‘s will and want to plan a wedding and future together that’s completely in His will and always keeping God first.
