We’re (still) getting married!

Tim and Sydney met as freshmen at Highland Springs High School Center for Engineering. They spent the next four years growing closer as friends and eventually Sydney worked up the courage to ask Tim to prom... just as friends, of course! Shortly after prom came the Technology Student Association national competition in Dallas, Texas, which is where Tim asked Sydney to be his girlfriend. The next five years were spent long-distance with Tim attending Virginia Tech and Sydney attending James Madison University. But the two stayed close despite the demands of college and the distance between them and after graduating decided to move in together. To celebrate 8 years of being together, they planned a vacation to New York City. Exactly eight years after Tim asked Sydney to be his girlfriend, he took her to the rooftop of the Gotham Hotel and asked her to be his wife. “We’ve been on so many adventures together... will you go on the greatest adventure of them all with me?”
