It's all Happening!

Tim and I were introduced to each other back in January 2012 by Tim’s brother, Nick, and my best friend Julie, when Tim had come to visit his brother Joey in California from New Jersey. We immediately hit it off and tried to spend as much time together as we could in those two weeks. But Tim had to go back to New Jersey for his senior year so we continued to keep in touch, as friends. When Tim graduated in May of that year, Julie and I went to visit and met Nick and Tim in Washington DC for a music festival. After that, Tim took me up to New Jersey to meet his parents and see where he grew up. It was such a memorable trip that brought us so much closer, even though we were living 3000 miles apart at the time. So we continued to keep in touch. Tim ended up getting an incredible opportunity to work for New York City to clean up after Hurricane Sandy, and after working 90-hour weeks for a few months, it allowed him to save enough to start a move out to California and look for work. I flew out to Philadelphia in February 2012, where Tim picked me up with his car packed full of all of his belongings and we drove cross-country to California to move him out. My mother let Tim stay on the couch for a couple of weeks before we found our first apartment together in Woodland Hills in March of 2012. Tim found a great job for a General Contractor in California and we bounced around to different homes to maximize our free time together. Once I started working from home in 2016, we decided to adopt a puppy named Finnegan and started our own little family. Tim gave me the greatest honor of my life when he asked me to be his wife. He completely surprised me on our favorite sunset spot at the big sand dune in Malibu on May 24th, 2018 with a well-planned and thoughtful proposal. Of course, I said Yes! We are so excited for this next step in our journey together and are so grateful to have the love and support of our friends and family to join us on our special day.
