We're so excited to celebrate with you!

In this classic tale of boy meets girl, we found love in a hopeless place... a global pandemic. We met up for beers at Burley Oak in Berlin, Maryland after weeks of trying to find a time that worked for both of us. We shared a flight of beers, and then a pint of our soon-to-be favorite, Sea Heathen. The conversation was easy, and the feelings were instant. That’s pretty much when we both thought, “Okay. This could be something.”

The first trip we took together was to Cape Charles, Virginia for a weekend getaway in 2020. We returned to Cape Charles and the same AirBnb in November of 2021. We love a good beach sunrise and when we checked in, Tim was reminding me how this was the first trip we had taken together. We planned the next morning to ride our bikes down to the bay before sunrise. It was a very chilly morning, and the full moon was still high. The sky was a cotton candy swirl of orange, pink and purple and we were the only footsteps in the sand by the bay that morning. We walked around a bit and as we walked toward a jetty to take a picture, when I turned back around, Tim was down on one knee. It was the easiest yes of my life. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Assateague!
