Christine & Tim met in 2007, while both attending Cazenovia College. They met through mutual friends, and also shared a few classes together. After college, they didn't really keep in touch, but when Christine was visiting her sister in Charlotte, NC in early 2016, she reached out to Tim as she knew he now lived there (thanks social media!). The two grabbed a drink together to catch up while she was in town, and continued to talk daily after she flew back to Philadelphia. Christine had been considering a new job, and was ready for a change, as she had been in Philly for 6 years at her current job at QVC. She applied for another eCommerce job at the department store Belk, headquartered in Charlotte, in September and got the job! Tim would like to tell people she moved for him, but we all know better :) Once Christine had moved down to Charlotte, the two begun to hang out, and the relationship grew from there. They planned weekend trips hiking, visited Atlanta (to see a live taping of Family Feud!), spent an Easter together exploring Savannah, GA, and more. Their friend circle in Charlotte consisted of other friends from Caz, as well as friends from Schenectady, NY where Tim had grown up. Fast forward a few years, and they now live together, with their four year old French bulldog, Henry.

Henry is a big part of Christine and Tim's life, and Tim knew however he was going to propose, it absolutely had to involve Henry. He had arranged for Christine to go out to dinner with one of her best friends, Natalie, while he set it up. It was June 3rd (and the 3rd is their anniversary, December 3rd however). Tim had talked to Christine's dad prior to ask for permission as he knew how important it was to her. When Christine arrived home after dinner, Henry was waiting at the front door wearing a bandana that said "Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?", and Tim was down on one knee. He knew she couldn't say no to Henry :)
