The Wedding Website of Christina Davison and Adam Tilson
We are so excited to celebrate our big day with you! If you have any questions that are not answered below, please reach out to Adam or Christina directly or email us at ac.tilson24@gmail.com
Question

Do you have a room block reserved?

Answer

Unfortunately, a room block was not an option for us. In order to accommodate all of our guest's various accommodation preferences and budgets, we are encouraging our guests' book at a hotel or AirBnB /VRBO of their choosing with in the Buena Vista area. We have several hotel and other lodging options listed in the Accommodations section of our website. Please note that many of these options require a stay of 2 nights or more and you may not be able to book certain hotel rooms until about 6 months prior to the wedding date. Also keep in mind that September is a popular wedding month for mountain weddings and accommodations will book up quickly.

Question

When should I book my accommodations for this trip?

Answer

We have been told that the accommodations in Buena Vista book up very quickly and we were advised by our coordinator to recommend our guests start looking at booking an AirBnB/VRBO as soon as possible.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception are at two different locations. The ceremony will be taking place at Deer Valley Ranch in Northrop, CO and the reception will be taking place at The Loft Orpheum Theatre on Main Street in Buena Vista, CO. The Loft is located approximately 20 minutes away from the ceremony location at Deer Valley Ranch. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to the ceremony and reception. Carpooling is encouraged!

Question

Is the event outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony at Deer Valley Ranch is an outdoor ceremony. We encourage our guests to apply sunscreen prior to attending the ceremony and bring a light jacket. The reception at The Loft is an indoor venue with an outdoor area for our guests to enjoy if they would like to step out for a quiet moment.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all of your children, however we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event, with the exception of immediate family members and a select few older minors. We want all parents to be able to relax and enjoy themselves! We encourage you to use this evening as a date night or stay a few days for a mini vacation and let the grandparents or babysitters spoil the kiddos at home.

Question

When and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Once you receive a formal invitation there will be a QR code to RSVP on our website. All of our RSVPs will be done online through our website. We will not be having mail in RSVPs.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise we would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with friends and family. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love all of our friends and family to dress up with us for our special day. The dress code for our wedding and reception is semi-formal/Cocktail attire. Please no jeans, shorts, or T-shirts. We encourage our guests to wear fall colors, but this is not required. Please feel free to wear any color that you would like with the exception of the wedding party colors (dark green) and an outfit that is all or mostly white.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, and signature cocktails, as well as a variety of non alcoholic beverages, will be served free of charge to all of our guests. Please drink responsibly and make sure to secure safe transport from the reception to your accommodations.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol to the Reception?

Answer

No. Our venue has strict rules as to how alcohol must be served to our guests so we ask that you please leave any personal alcohol at the place you are staying or at home. Don’t worry, we got you covered!

Question

How do I let the couple know I will not be able to attend?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. When you receive your formal invitation, please RSVP "Will NOT Attend" by the designated RSVP by date. If you RSVP attending, but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify Adam or Christina directly via text message or email us at ac.tilson24@gmail.com.
