FAQs

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Old Post 1940 on Main Street in Easley, SC.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be held outside?

Answer

If weather permitting, the ceremony will be held at the wedding garden that is owned and managed by Old Post 1940 - which is located right across the street from their building. There is a large tree that is perfect for creating a wonderful, shaded area for the pews they have set up in the garden.

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2pm.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

You should arrive thirty minutes to one hour prior to the start of the ceremony. This will allow you to get settled into a seat and ready for the festivities.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is April 1st, 2022.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list so we can stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Yes! Kick off your heels, bring your dancing shoes and we will have a ball!

Question

Is there going to be a alcohol/open-bar?

Answer

There will be NO alcohol served during the wedding festivities.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the event is semi-formal.

Question

Can I take pictures during the event and post them to social media?

Answer

We won't stop you, but we have hired a wonderful photographer to take care of photos so we can have an unplugged event where everyone just lives in the moment!

Question

Will you require masks to be worn?

Answer

There will not be a blanket requirement for masks (or vaccines). If you wish to wear a mask, that is up to you. We know that not everyone may want to wear a mask at our wedding, but we completely respect those who do. We won't be providing masks for guests, though. So if you wish to wear one, please bring your own.

Question

Will the wedding be livestreamed?

Answer

Unfortunately, it is not in our budget to livestream our ceremony and reception.
