The camp has a main parking area that is set apart from the main camp and has space for up to 75 cars. (Please carpool if possible) There is a short walking bridge leading to the camp from the lot. Additional parking is available throughout the camp if necessary.
All cabins include bunk beds with mattresses, electricity, and indoor/outdoor lighting. The six “Deluxe” cabins are located around the main camp area, and are convenient to the dining hall, sports fields, and bathhouse. Each has closeable window screens and shutters, and include a fireplace. The bunkhouse cabin includes beds for 12 campers, a fireplace, and is in a wooded area set apart from the other cabins. Our remaining cabins are located in the woods and sleep 6-8 campers each. The campground does not offer Wi-Fi but cell service works well. There will be water provided in each cabin.
Yes, the Wepawaug river runs through the campgrounds. It isn't deep but there are also beaches and various nature preserves nearby to explore during the day on Saturday.
We suggest you bring appropriate gear for shallow water. The Wepawaug River runs through the middle of camp and runs 11 miles south into Milford Harbor and into Long Island Sound. The landscape includes beautiful views of both small natural and large man-made waterfalls. There is great trout fishing as well!
We suggest you bring your own towel if you are staying over the weekend. There will be basic toiletries such as shampoo, lotion, bug spray, etc... provided in the bathhouses.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift, but if you'd like to give something or contribute to our future plans it would mean so much to us! There will be a designated gift area in the dining hall.
Yes, children are welcome! We have arranged for childcare during the festivities on Saturday night. There is an arts & crafts building near the dining hall for the littles to enjoy under the supervision of childcare professionals from a company called Jovie based in Fairfield county. More info to come once RSVP's come in.
