What is the parking situation for Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

We recommend grabbing an Uber or a Lyft to our ceremony and then home from our reception. There is a parking lot at First Baptist Church but you cannot leave your car there overnight. It is a 10 minute walk from our ceremony to our reception so the walk back to your car would not be bad. There is also a public parking garage behind Hibernian Hall.

How do we get from ceremony to reception?

Answer

Most guests will walk, being led by a trumpet player to ensure no one gets lost! The walk is about 10 minutes down the beautiful streets of Charleston. Remember to bring a jacket if the weather permits! We will also have a trolly making multiple trips to transport any guest who does not want to walk or is unable to walk.
