For those flying in, Bangor and Portland are the closest airports within Maine. Deer Isle is about 3 hours drive from Portland, and about an hour and a half drive from Bangor. For those flying into Boston, Deer Isle is a 4 and a half hour drive. It takes 30+ minutes to get from our venue on Deer Isle (Aragosta) to the mainland. Given that, we *highly* recommend you stay on the island so it's easy for you to enjoy Aragosta and Goose Cove throughout the weekend. We have a beach to ourselves there, and beautiful walking trails just next door. Accommodations on the island are a hot commodity! Please book early!
