Once upon a time in 2018, Lauren and Chris met through an online dating site and had an 8 hour first date on which Lauren remained successfully unmurdered. They liked each other and had a lot in common. However, they lived two and a half hours apart and worked very different schedules, so Lauren ended things after a couple months because she didn't see how anything serious could work out. Lauren and Chris were occasionally in touch and hung out a few times, but each thought the other only wanted to be friends and nothing ever became of it. In 2022, their schedules lined up a little better, and they began talking a little more...and a little more....and eventually a whole lot almost constantly, so they finally DTRed in March 2023 and decided they were officially more than friends.
