We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or a suit and tie.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Washington summers are warm during the day and cool at night, so we recommend sucking it up, put on an alcohol blanket, and don't forget your sunglasses for the outdoor ceremony.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, but the reception will be inside.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids, but this will be an adult only wedding. Please contact us directly with any questions.

I have dietary restrictions, what's the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Please check your invite for a +1. If so, absolutely!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved hotel rooms at Anacortes Inn (check out our travel page for the address). Additionally, we have other options listed under the travel page if you choose to stay elsewhere.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have signature cocktails during cocktail hour along with beer and wine served throughout the evening. Don't forget to bring cash to tip the bartender!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post and share your pictures with us!!

Will transportation be provided? Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

**Cars cannot remain at the venue overnight** We are not providing any formal transportation for the event. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving. Mert's Taxi (360-708-6358) is a great option for those who don’t. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink!

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport There are shuttles from the airport all the way to Anacortes but public transportation (taxis/Ubers) in Anacortes are sparse. We recommend investing in a rental car. Bellingham International Airport This airport is slightly closer to Anacortes but nearly all flights connect through SeaTac anyways and flights are FAR more expensive. We recommend flying into SeaTac as the total travel time is about the same and logistics are simpler and cheaper.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 3802 Sterling Pl Anacortes, WA 98221. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end around 10pm, after there will be an after-party at Union Tavern in downtown Anacortes. See you there!
