Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please no children under 18 years of age. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Attire: floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We know you'd love to celebrate our night with a special person. However, we cannot exceed our venue's strict guest count limit. If your invitation did not include a +1, then we please request you do not bring a date. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is entirely optional to attend! We understand many of our guests have young children or household commitments that take priority, as well as traveling to our hometown for a short ceremony is not realistic for some. Please feel free to meet us at the Reception venue at 5:30pm, ready to party the night away!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Because our ceremony is optional to attend, we will not have any formal transportation available for guests. However, for those who would like to attend the ceremony & will be traveling from the city, we highly recommend hopping aboard the Seastreak Ferry, which takes you to Highlands, NJ & is only a 10 minute Uber/Lyft/Taxi ride from the Church! For more details, please visit the 'TRAVEL' page.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are also a handful of amazing hotels in New York you can choose to spend the evening/weekend at all throughout the city. Our favorite neighborhoods are SoHo, Chelsea, & West Village. For convenience, we have also included a couple hotels that are within walking distance of our reception venue, which you can view under the 'TRAVEL' page on the main menu.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you will be attending the ceremony by car, there is plenty of street parking alongside the Church. Should you choose to drive into NYC for the reception/weekend, there's a large parking garage located directly across the street from The New York Yacht Club at 30 W 44th St.
