Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding as we navigated some difficult times and decision making last year. As you may know, not even Covid-19 could extinguish our passion for each other, and we opted for a small, intimate wedding ceremony at our rehearsal venue given the state of the pandemic. That being said, we've postponed the larger, original ceremony for this year, and we can't wait to finally celebrate with you all!

Jeremy & Kevin were always more connected than they thought. Jeremy grew up the oldest of 4 children in the small town, Mahomet, in rural Central Illinois. After graduating high school in 2008, he moved to Champaign to study at the University of Illinois. Meanwhile, Kevin, the youngest of 3 children (and a twin), hails from the suburb of Schaumburg, Illinois. He graduated from high school in 2009 and also moved to study at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. Throughout their underclassmen years, both lived within a block of each other; Jeremy at the Newman Center and Kevin at Illini Tower, yet meet each other, they did not. In 2011, both moved to apartments in Urbana, again just down the road from each other, but destiny would not have them meet at this time either. Who can know how many times these two future lovers may have crossed paths? Perhaps walking to class or enjoying a bit of diversion at the local bars? Maybe studying at one of numerous campus libraries or even sitting next to each other in a crowded pre-health lecture hall? How ironic that even though they had not met, they slowly, though unknowingly, began weaving together relationships with mutual friends and classmates. Jeremy graduated college and subsequently attended medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois before matching into a neurology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. After graduating college, Kevin ultimately ended up working as a healthcare technician at Elmhurst Hospital while studying nursing at Harper College. At last, in October 2016, the two came into correspondence on an online dating site, and the magic ignited. Their love grew, and with time, so did their family with the additions of two rescue dogs, Rosie & Pearl. Though the pandemic has brought new norms regarding social interactions, Kevin and Jeremy are now forever be together in heart and soul.
