They both have different recollections of when they met: Justin recalls the time they met was in Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep (SHCP). Justin a senior in Economics class, had a class project where he had to create a small business. Justin and his Econ partner enlisted Justin's mom, Anne, and her famous chicken pasta salad as the item they sold during lunch. The small business was a hit. There would be lines for the pasta salad where even the teachers were buying it. Justin remembers Tiff lining up and trying to buy it every time. He thought she was cute while she thought the pasta salad was delicious. Tiffany thought it was her senior year at SHCP when she was looking for a date to the Winterball, the high school's winter dance. Tiff's girlfriend, Angie, suggested Justin who she knew from watching him play volleyball the year before he had graduated. Justin was a freshman at UC Santa Cruz and in volleyball season so he had to turn down the invitation. At the dance, with another date, Tiff receives a text from Justin asking if she was doing anything after. Thinking that Justin lied about volleyball practice, she didn't respond to the text. Next weekend, Justin texts again to hang out and Tiff gives in but takes her friend Mandy along with her just in case this guy was crazy. Not until they were dating, Tiffany asked Justin why he lied about not being able to go to the dance. Justin explained that he did have volleyball practice but rushed back to SF after, hoping to hang out.

After dating for six and a half years throughout college and the start of their professional careers, they decided to end their relationship after feeling lost of who they were as individuals. After a year and a half of growing apart, they decided to date again and see if they were life partners. Fast forward three and a half years, they moved out of their parent's houses and into their own place. Tiffany wondered if they would ever get married. On February 18, 2018, Justin proposed to Tiffany at the Palace of Fine Arts! We are incredibly excited to celebrate 12 years in the making with you on our wedding day of July 20, 2019.
