On October 2017 at the University of Alabama in Huntsville-- Matt's fraternity, Delta Chi, was having a Halloween party where DJ Swizzy was spinning. It was Tiffany's last year of college, so a close friend had invited her (shoutout to Beth Anne!). As she got there, Beth Anne told her to hand her purse over to the DJ for safekeeping. It must have been love at first sight, because the day after... DJ Swizzy sent her a friend request on Instagram. A request that, unfortunately, she ignored!! Fast forward to November 2020 -- both DJ Swizzy and Tiffany are now graduated from UAH. She was on social media when she stumbled upon a familiar face... Matt Sweeney... so she was curious. Now SHE is sending HIM a friend request! From then on, the two were inseparable and spent pretty much every day together :)

They had plans to meet up with family (Chase & Katie) and some friends in Atlanta for a weekend of fun. On the way there, everyone said that they ran into Atlanta traffic which… is not surprising. So the couple decided, since they made it before everyone else, to do some quick exploring! Matt mentioned hearing about the beautiful view at the Jackson Street Bridge, so that's where they headed to! As they parked and walked up to the view... something caught Tiffany's attention from across the street. She saw two other pedestrians standing by... pedestrians who looked kind of familiar... At this point, they made it to the view, but Tiffany couldn't help but to look back at the two pedestrians who were standing across the street... "Doesn't that look like Chase and Katie??" Now if you don't know, Katie is an extremely talented wedding photographer. Tiffany saw one of the pedestrians pull out a camera... and became very confused. At this point, right behind her, Matt says "there's a reason why we're here." As she turns around… he grabs her hand, and gets down on one knee.
