Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at Nella Terra Cellars. We are limiting our ceremony to our immediate family only. All other guests are invited to the Reception which starts at 5:00 pm. Their address is: 5005 Sheridan Road Sunol, CA 94586 Website: www.nellaterra.com

Question

What time should I arrive at the Reception?

Answer

Reception will begin at 5:00pm on October 18. We kindly ask guests to arrive 20 minutes to the start time.

Question

Will the reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Nella Terra is an all-outdoor venue. Reception will be taken place outdoor under a tent that open to outside all around the perimeter.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are nearby hotels in Fremont and in Dublin, which are 10 to 15 mins from Nella Terra. Please go to our Guest Accommodations page for a few recommendations.

Question

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes. Nella Terra would like our guests to be mindful of their vineyard, so please drive 5MPH when entering the Nella Terra property. You will reach the parking lot just a few minutes after you enter the property. Please park in the first parking lot near the large iron wine barrel. Thank you.

Question

Can I bring children and/or a date?

Answer

Due to new COVID-19 health regulation, our venue is allowed 25% of its capacity, meaning 75 guests out of a normal 300 guests capacity. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please visit our RSVP section to see a list of your invited party.

Question

Will I need to wear a mask?

Answer

Yes, for the safety of our guests as well as staff at the venue, all guests are required to wear a mask except while they are eating and drinking. All staff at the venue are also required to wear masks. All servers are required to wear masks and gloves.

Question

What COVID-19 restrictions or guidelines will your wedding follow?

Answer

The safety of our guest is our top priority. This is an all-outdoor venue where ceremony and reception are all taken place outdoor. The ceremony will include immediate family only. We will have 54 guests at the reception, which is below the maximum allowed guest count of 75 at Nella Terra per current county's health regulations. This venue has a normal capacity of 300 and is spacious enough to allow for the minimum 6 feet social distance between guests/families. There will be plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue. Guests as well as all staff at the venue are required to wear a mask and to practice social distance. All servers are required to wear masks and gloves. We will not have dancing activities to avoid physical close contact with guests, however we will not stop you from busting a move while practicing social distance! And sadly, hugs, kisses, and high five will be practiced at a distance.

Question

How far apart will the tables and chairs be spread out to keep our guests safely distanced?

Answer

Reception will be held outdoor under a huge tent that opens to outside all around the perimeter, allowing plenty of airflow throughout the entire tent as well as access to outside all around the tent. Please see above our final floor plan with 54 guests in 14 tables. All tables will be spread at least 6 feet apart. We will have a mixture of 6 ft and 4 ft diameter tables. A maximum of 6 guests is allowed at each 6 ft table that normally seats 12. The smaller 4 ft tables will have a maximum of 3 guests per table. The number of guests per table varies depending on friends/family social bubbles. We will not have a dance floor to allow for extra distance between tables. Check out the reception area on our venue's website: www.nellaterra.com/explore-the-venue

Question

Is there a cocktail hour?

Answer

There will not be a cocktail hour, however, drinks and plated hors d'oeuvres will be served at your assigned table beginning at 5:00pm after guests arrive and are seated. This eliminates the need for guests to cluster at the bar. Dinner will follow after hors d'oeuvres are served.

Question

How is dinner served?

Answer

A buffet style dinner will follow after hors d'oeuvres are served. Servers will be stationed at the buffet behind a glass barrier where they are safely distanced from all guests. Guests from only one table will be allowed in the buffet area (separate area of the tent) at any one time (maximum of 6 guests). Guests from the next table will not be allowed to head to the serving station until after all guests from the previous table are seated. Servers are required to wear masks and gloves and will place food on a plate as you indicate your choices. Your full plate will be placed at the end of the serving station for you to pick up, allowing servers and guests to be safely distanced. Guests will not have access to any serving utensils nor need to touch anything at the serving stations other than his/her own plate.

Question

What about the bar?

Answer

In order to practice social distance and to avoid clustering at the bar, servers will serve all drinks at your table. Guests are not allowed to cluster at the bar. All servers are required to wear masks and gloves.

Question

I have dietary restrictions or food allergy?

Answer

We will gladly accommodate any dietary restrictions that you and your party may have. Our buffet menu will include vegetarian option. If you have any questions, please email us at btnabe1018@gmail.com.

Question

What about the restrooms?

Answer

The restroom is a giant trailer that has sinks with running water from faucets for hand washing and real flushing toilets. There are 4 stalls in the women's and 2 stalls with 3 urinals in the mens. There is also an accessible bathroom located in a building adjacent to the tent.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but if you are feeling particularly generous, we have set up a newlywed fund. Please visit our Registry Page for detail.
