Austin Airport is close to all major activities and the recommended airport for travel. For those traveling internationally, SATX and Houston are other options, but - if you are traveling internationally, you probably already know better than us!
There are two types of people in Austin - those North of the River, and those, like us, who keep it down South. The majority of wedding activities are located in SE Austin - close to Downtown, South Congress, and East Side accommodations, as well as more low-key lodging in the south. We are looking into hotel blocks but some of our top recommendations are: 1) La Quinta (1620 Teri Road) - we watched them build this hotel for 6 years and thought it was actually a money laundering scheme - that being said, it is now fully constructed and open for business and arguably the best affordable option close to most wedding activities 2) Hotel Magdalena - very cool and reasonably priced hotel right by the river and South Congress - incredible design and really fun place for those of you who will be joining us from out of town - other really cute hotels in this area are Austin Motel, Hotel San Jose, and South Congress Hotel. 3) Austin Proper - Tiff’s home away from home - a great place for those accustomed to luxury - use promo code PRPFNF for friends and family discount. Also a ton of Airbnbs and other chains (for those with loyalty points) - feel free to reach out with any questions around lodging - we would love to help!

Friday is semi-formal - we will be on a boat in absolutely unknowable weather conditions so please wear comfortable shoes and look nice! Semi-formal means: for men, Zach doesn’t really know but please no jeans or T-shirts - yes to sports jackets (the ultimate misnomer) - for women, Tiffany envisions cocktail dresses and pants suits. Saturday is formal: don’t wear WHITE and maybe when Zach figures out what color his suit is, don’t wear that color either! We encourage black and fall colors, and if possible ditch the blue suit.
