Maid of Honor
Marina and the bride met back in middle school, but became close friends in high school! Marina was cool and loved books and would give the bride a ride home from school so she didn't have to ride the bus like a loser. The bride appreciated this. The two became even closer after high school and nerded out over their mutual love of the mad hatter and Disneyland! The bride and Marina today love traveling together and before the pandemic had a wonderful trip, along with Marinas family, to England! Most recently Marina and the Bride celebrated their 30th birthdays together on a trip to New York and Canada! The bride is honoured to have Marina along side her for her special day! <3
Bridesmaid
Ashley and the bride met while working together at Paul Martins American Grill in the bay area! Ashley and the bride became friends fast and ended up on many adventures! Ashley enjoyed staying active and took the bride hiking, to play soccer, to go kayaking, to a dance class (they never returned) and one time even got her to go to the gym! When the bride thinks of her time in San Francisco and the bay, she always thinks of Ashley. Walking around the city, trying out new restaurants, hanging out at the Giants games; those were the days! The bride is thrilled to have her friend by her side!
Bridesmaid
Sami and the bride also met in middle school and became close friends! The bride had just moved from England and felt very out of place. Sami and her family had spent lots of time in Europe and the bride felt very comfortable over at their house drinking tea and relaxing. The bride and Sami spent many afternoons watching romantic movies and obsessing over the leading men! After high school the bride loved keeping tabs on Sami's busy life in the color guard and even got to go to some shows! The bride was thrilled when she got to see her dear friend walk down the aisle and be a part of her special day. The bride is looking forward for her friend to move closer to her and anticipates many winery outings in their futures! The bride is excited to have Sami be apart of this wedding!
Bridesmaid
Katelyn and the bride met when the bride started dating Katelyn's brother. The bride was scared of Katelyn at first because Katelyn was a giggling 16 year old and 16 year old girls are mean. The bride quickly discovered that Katelyn was just as awkward and crazy as she was and the two became close! Once Katelyn was able to drink the two became even closer and quite honestly should probably be watched when drinking together. Katelyn and the bride like sticking together at family functions and often are sharing the same thoughts to most situations. The bride is thrilled to get to call Katelyn a sister and is very happy she is going to be apart of this day with us! <3
Best Man
Josh and the groom have known each other since middle school but Josh thought the groom was annoying then. To be fair Josh was a football player and the groom liked Pokémon. Once college hit, Josh and the groom found their paths crossing more and Josh realized that the groom was actually pretty cool. The two enjoy chillin and playing video games and more recently playing D&D in a group together. Josh and the groom enjoy brainstorming and discussing potential projects and can stay up talking for hours. The groom is very excited to have Josh with him on his brides special day.
Groomsman
Jake and the groom also met during middle school as Jake was in the same friend group as Josh. Jake and the groom grew close during college and enjoyed hanging out in the bay area. The groom enjoyed getting food with Jake at a place in Pacifica that was known for giving big portions, this was good for broke college kids. The groom has visited Jake at his various addresses and has fond memories playing D&D at the Rancho house. After moving to Washington, the groom is happy to now have Jake and his family only 4 hours away in Oregon. When Jake and the groom aren't playing video games, they are discussing Crypto and advising each other on the next thing to invest in! The groom and the bride enjoy going on outings with Jake and his wife Raven and their beautiful kids. They are both happy that Jake is apart of this big day!
Groomsman
Alan and the groom go back to Cub Scouts, when their biggest responsibilities were tying knots and trying not to burn marshmallows at campouts. They bonded over shared chaos and a mutual love of goofing off, not much has changed since. The groom was thrilled when his pal became his neighbor and when school got out they regularly posted up with video games. As the years went by the hangouts continued with a questionable amount of junk food, and hours spent arguing complete nonsense hypotheticals like who would win in a fight between a shark and a gorilla. The groom has many fond memories with Alan such as battling Pokemon, competing in silly eating challenges, and even managing his former band. With the groom out in the PNW, he misses living close to Alan but enjoys meeting up and slipping right back into “the good old days” like it’s second nature. The groom couldn’t imagine this chapter of his life without him there to share it.
Officiant
Lisa and the bride met in community college, they were stuck together in one of those excruciating group projects. The bride absolutely hated public speaking and was extremely nervous, until Lisa offered the bride her flask. The bride was so anxious that she was going to get in trouble for drinking that she was no longer nervous about the presentation. The bride became friends with Lisa after this and the drinking going forward was confined to BJ's. This was the hangout spot as they could get there in between classes and the beers were good! The bride and groom love hanging out with Lisa and have shared many fond memories including Cinco de Mayo, Tahoe and all the board game nights. The bride and groom were overjoyed when Lisa accepted the role of Officiant and are so thrilled she will be marrying them as she has been with them since the start <3
Flower Girl
Andi and the bride met when the bride worked for her parents! Andi would come into the office and provide a much needed distraction, always showing the bride the latest craft she was working on! The bride became close with Andi and her family and over the last few years the bride and groom got the pleasure of watching Andi turn into a lovely young lady! As Andi gets older the bride will miss buying girl scout cookies from her, and being able to pretend the amount of boxes purchased was just out of support. The bride, however, will feel better roasting Andi when playing games together, as it felt a bit mean when she was young, not that this ever stopped the bride. The bride and groom have an annual summer camping trip with the Hall family and are always impressed with Andi's ability to get the camp site together! Walking around and recruiting kids and family's to talent shows or glow stick parties, she sure knows how to lead! The bride and groom are both absolutely thrilled that Andi wanted to be their flower girl!
