Tanisha and Tiffany met at a nightclub when life was normal, and a facial mask was not a necessity. It was December 31, 2016 and the world was celebrating another year of memories to be made and dreams to be fulfilled. Tiffany and Tanisha were almost close to not meeting that night. Tiffany had spent most of her evening getting ready for a New Year’s Eve dinner with friends. Tanisha was pregaming at her home waiting for her friend so she could leave out. Tiffany and her friends had dinner at a restaurant and headed over to a few clubs in the area. On New Year's Eve prices are sometimes double or triple the normal price. The first club Tiffany and her friends went to was charging double the price to get in, so they left. The next spot across the street was charging triple so they decided to go back to the first spot. Arriving back to the first spot the prices went up again. One of Tiffany's friends wanted to try another club instead. The promise of a drink purchase was what sealed the deal. Tanisha was in the club drinking her favorite beer. Tiffany checked her coat, and headed to the bar to buy herself and her friend a drink. After Tiffany received her gin and vodka with a red bull (aka Trash Can), she separated from her friends, making her way through the club, and noticed a high school friend. Guess who was with this high school friend? Tanisha. Unbeknownst to Tiffany, Tanisha had spotted Tiffany from across the room and saw her walking in her direction. Tiffany started talking to her high school friend and was introduced to Tanisha, then after a few minutes, she left. Tanisha was eager to know who Tiffany was. Tiffany came back to where Tanisha and her friend were, and they began to converse. As Tiffany and Tanisha chatted, Tanisha noticed that Tiffany's drink was low and offered to buy her another.
Months later, Tanisha revealed that she told her friend that night at the club that she was going to marry Tiffany one day. Fast forward three years to the engagement proposal, after everyone left Tanisha described the night they met. Tanisha smiled and said, “what would be the odds that my friend would recognize you." The whole ride home Tanisha said to herself, “That’s going to be my wife!” A prophecy fulfilled
