Our Vegas elopement was nothing short of magical—a day I’ll cherish forever. After nearly eight beautiful years together, Shar and I decided to get married… in just one week! Some might call it impulsive, but for us, it felt absolutely perfect. No big wedding hoopla—just us, good company, nature, and lots of love. Let’s rewind a bit… On the winter solstice, December 21st, 2023, Shar shared his heart and proposed. It wasn’t some elaborate setup with champagne and rose petals, but it came straight from his soul—and to me, that was everything. One whirlwind week later, after finding a dress, gathering our witnesses, and a little scrambling 😅, we were off to Vegas to tie the knot! No Elvis impersonator for us, though—we chose something far more meaningful. The majestic red rock mountains, where we’ve camped and climbed so many times before, became the sacred space for our vows. It felt like the perfect reflection of our journey together: grounded in love, connected to nature, and filled with adventure. On that day, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, the presence of God, and a few of our closest loved ones, we exchanged vows and committed our lives to one another. The celebration didn’t stop there! After our intimate ceremony, we headed back to change and hopped into a limo for a ride down the Vegas Strip. We enjoyed an incredible dinner, gambled a little, and danced the night away. It was everything we could have dreamed of—a perfect mix of romance, spontaneity, and joy. The only thing missing was having all of our loved ones there to share in the magic. Which brings us to Mexico. To celebrate our one-year anniversary, we’re beyond excited to renew our vows with all of you by our side. Why not have two magical weddings, right? This time, we’ll trade the red rocks for the soft sands and turquoise waters. Which is beautiful reflection of where our life is currently headed hehe Nothing brings us more joy than sharing this moment with the people we love most.
