Tiffany and Ryan first met each other one fateful August evening in 2016 in downtown Fullerton at a local after hours spot. In that crowded, noisy room Ryan spotted Tiffany and was immediately smitten. After a couple drinks and casual conversation, Ryan asked Tiffany if he could call her sometime to go grab a bite to eat. Although Tiffany did not immediately give in to Ryan's request, claiming that he lived too far away, she ultimately relented and gave Ryan her number. The following weekend they arranged to meet up to go on their first date where Ryan treated Tiffany to a classy meal of Spanish tapas and sangria. Little did each of them know that it would be the start of their lifelong journey together...
In July of 2018, Tiffany and Ryan took a trip to Minneapolis to attend the baptism of Ryan's god-daughter. As an added highlight, Tiffany and Ryan had planned a short sightseeing trip to Chicago. As is usually the case, Tiffany did most of the planning for the trip, however, Ryan had made some plans of his own. Unbeknownst to Tiffany, Ryan had purchased a beautiful engagement ring for the love of his life with the intention of proposing to her at the top of the Willis Tower. On the second day of their stay in Chicago, they had planned to see the Willis tower and that is when Ryan took the ring out of the box hidden in his backpack and placed it in a pouch securely fastened with velco in his wallet. After a cab ride, an elevator ride, and a lengthy wait in line, it was the moment Ryan had been waiting for. Once Tiffany and Ryan set foot on the glass platform on the 103rd floor overlooking the city, Ryan got down on one knee and asked the question that he had been waiting to ask Tiffany for months. Tiffany was shocked and speechless and took several seconds to compose herself before answering with an enthusiastic "Yes!". The newly engaged couple kissed and left the platform with a flurry of applause and whistles from the crowd of tourists that had gathered around. That would be a moment that neither of them would ever forget...
