Our journey began as laboratory partners in a Geology class while we were both attending school in Hattiesburg. There was a spark, and we became best friends with Rian's persistence. We then climbed mountains and slid down dunes. We danced to Tiffany's entire record collection and had dreamt about what the future would bring. We spent all our time together the following spring and summer, but unfortunately, was forced to grow apart when life took us in different directions and distances. We remained friends over the years. Then, six years later, our paths crossed again while we were working at the same company. We reconnected one summer evening over popsicles at a Pop Brothers stand and then resumed our reunification at a BBQ & Blues festival the following afternoon. There was always a light that never went out.

We decided to take a sporadic camping trip to the Colorado Rockies. We spent the whole week adventuring on breathtaking hikes, tent camping under the western stars, and driving thousands of miles. At the end of the camping trip, we took a stroll to Dream Lake. Rian proposed while Tiffany was standing on a rock ledge, enjoying a PB&J sandwich picnic overlooking the lake. The lake in which dreams would eventually be made. He then proposed to his best friend and soulmate; she said, "Yes!". This event is where the true adventure would begin.....
