We met in middle school but didn't speak again until high school, when our mutual friends (hi Allison, Jordan, and Parker!) brought us together just before graduation. Eventually, we had our first date at a coffee shop, which turned into weekly walks around town over the summer where we learned we loved everything about each other. Upon this discovery we went to a psychic who told us we would have a long and happy life together. I'm pretty sure she was making it up as she went along but as teenagers in love we took it as a sign that we were meant to be. We finished college together, adopted Mango and Olive, bought a house in Des Moines, and 9 years later we are so excited to celebrate the start of our marriage with you.
