A WSU tale as old as time... It was a raging syllabus week on college hill. Sophomore year was looking promising for our two young lovebirds as they set out on the faithful night of August 23rd, 2017. Tiffany was buzzing through Greek row looking for her next adventure when she heard the sweet melodies of Travis Scott's 'Butterfly Effect' coming from the home of the fraternal brotherhood of FIJI. As she turned a corner into their backyard, she fell into instant conversation with a friend of Mason's. Onlooking from afar, Mason was craning his neck to see who it was his friend was speaking to? He could wait no longer, he had to join the conversation and meet her. Instantly, the two were locked in on each other. Others in the conversation slowly left their side as Tiffany and Mason stayed in the Fiji yard for hours more talking. When leaving, the two went to exchange information but Mason said he 'did not have a phone'. Tiffany's red flags began to raise... How could this be?! Though her excitement was receding, Mason told her to, "add him on snapchat" and he would see his request when he got a phone. Agreeing, Tiffany wondered that night if she would ever hear from Mason again. A week later, Tiffany received a friend request on Snapchat. "Mason!" Her grasp tightened around the phone. She wanted to open and reply, but also, "Who was this guy?" she thought to herself. "What would his first snap after a week be?" With a calming breath, she slid her finger across the screen and tapped to open the chat. His location in white lettering read 'Pullman Municipal Court'. The flags were raising even higher this time! Who had she met that night?! Curiosity led into hundreds of snapchats back and forth. Fast forward to their first date, Tiffany cooked a salmon dinner and they shared a bottle of Kung-Fu Girl Riesling. The rest is history!
