The first interaction that Tiff had with Kyle was through Facebook on a page created for their career field to interact. Someone had posted that Kyle would be moving from his duty station in Las Vegas to Mountain Home, Idaho. Tiff commented saying "Hi I'm Tiff, welcome to the Gunfighters!" This phrase became somewhat of a running joke (ask us about it). Once Kyle got to Mountain Home the two had interacted a few times briefly for work purposes. Eventually they decided to have a date at the park. This date was unlike any other that either had previously experienced...Tiff brought her cat Thor and Kyle brought his dog Kona. Those two were instant best friends! They spent the afternoon having a picnic and just talking and getting to know each other. They both walked away from the park that day knowing that something about each other was different than anyone they had ever met. From there the rest is history!

On May 1st, 2016 Kyle took Tiff to a small airport in Battle Ground, Washington. Tiffany thought that she had arranged for her Uncle Ron to take them up flying in his plane. When they arrived at the air field, Kyle took Tiff over to an area with a small lake, picnic table and beautiful trees. It was a beautiful sunny day. Tiff sat down at the picnic table and Kyle kept suggesting that she should stand up. Eventually she did stand up and when she did he dropped down to one knee and pulled out a beautiful solitaire diamond ring that had belonged to his grandma Diane. He was shaking the whole time he proposed. Of course Tiff said yes!!! Little did she know that her uncle and Kyle had been arranging this proposal for a while. Right after Tiff said yes, Uncle Ron landed his plane and took the couple up for a beautiful flight to the Washington coast.

On the 21st of May, 2016 we found out that we were pregnant with Adelaide. Having originally set a wedding date for fall of 2016, we decided to move up the wedding so that Tiff wouldn't be really pregnant. On July 1st 2016 we got married at the Boise, Idaho courthouse surrounded by some of our family members. Although our wedding was wonderful we have always wanted to put on our dream wedding celebration so that all of our family members who want to join us can celebrate with us.
