Flight
Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport is the closest airport to the wedding venue and hotel area. It is a smaller, easy-to-navigate airport located right in Newport News, making it a convenient choice for guests who want a quick arrival and shorter drive once they land. Flight options may be more limited, so we recommend comparing pricing and availability early.
Flight
Norfolk International Airport is a great option for guests traveling from out of town, especially those who may need more airline or flight time options. ORF is located in Norfolk, which is across the water from Newport News, so guests should plan for additional travel time due to bridge and tunnel traffic. This is a strong choice for guests who are renting a car or coordinating transportation with family and friends.
Train
Guests may also consider traveling by train through Amtrak. The Newport News Amtrak station is located at 500B Bland Blvd., Newport News, VA 23602, which is convenient to the Newport News airport area and a short drive from many local hotels. This can be a great option for guests who prefer not to fly or drive the full distance.
Travel Note
For the easiest wedding weekend experience, we recommend that guests rent a car, use rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, or coordinate transportation with family and friends. Hampton Roads is a driving-friendly area, but travel times can vary depending on bridge and tunnel traffic, especially for guests arriving through Norfolk.
