While we both went to high school together and were only one degree of Kevin Bacon apart, it wasn't until years later that we connected through social media. Justin sent Tiffany a message on Facebook after sending a friend request and said, "Oh I actually thought you were someone else." After several awkward dates, Tiffany's assurance that she wasn't always so awkward (which you'll all know is a terrible lie), many years of traveling, turbulence, incredible achievements, and so much more - we're here.
We had talked about marriage over the years, but put our priorities elsewhere first - Tiffany going through nursing school (and never stopping), Justin advancing his career through graphic arts, buying a house, traveling the world. Justin secretly lined everything up for a nice Sunday picnic. We went to Fairmount Park down the street from our home. We even actually had to go back home because we forgot a few things (Tiffany later found out Justin actually forgot the ring.) Once we finally settled on a spot and got set up, Justin couldn't wait any longer and popped the big question. A joyous surprise and an incredible Sunday to never forget.
