How soon should I apply for/renew my passport?

Answer

According to the Department of State, it takes 4-6 weeks to renew/apply for a passport. Jamaica requires that your passport must be valid for 6 months at the time of entry. If your passport expires within the 6 month period, it is important that you renew it as soon as possible.
