What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a cocktail dress or pants suit, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. WE ASK THAT ALL OUR GUESTS WEAR NEUTRAL COLORS, PLEASE NO WHITE, GREEN OR PURPLE. (See color palette above for ideas)

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and wedding will be taking place at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Fishkill. We ask you to please be prompt as the ceremony will start at 3 p.m.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:00 p.m. We ask that everyone arrives 30 minutes early as the ceremony will begin on time.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for an hour. Guest can enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres during this time.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed ! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to Covid-19 so our wedding is strictly RSVP ONLY. We will accommodate those listed in your invitation.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we kindly request children of immediate family only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What if I don't RSVP?

Answer

If we haven't heard from you by the 15th of May we will assume you are unable to make it. Please RSVP under the RSVP tab if you are able to attend or not.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon, but we will be setting up a card box at the reception.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception and ceremony are both indoors.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #FINALLYFERNANDEZ so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

Where should guest park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking in the hotel parking lot.

What COVID-19 precautions will have in place?

Answer

We will be asking that ALL guests comply with current CDC guidelines. Unless you are seated and actively eating/drinking, please wear a mask and social distance. If you are feeling ill or have been directly exposed to COVID within two weeks prior to the wedding, we ask that you please stay home to keep everyone safe. If you are unable to abide by these guidelines or are not comfortable coming, we completely understand! Please update your RSVP as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.
