FAQs

Question

When and Where is the Wedding?

Answer

December 6th @ 3pm, Camp Colton, Colton Oregon.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation is addressed to a party of two or more, please include the names of all guests and the total number attending when submitting your RSVP. While the RSVP form may indicate that providing names and party size is ‘optional,’ this information is required to help us properly plan for the celebration. Each invited guest is welcome to bring one additional guest, whose name should also be included.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We’d love for our wedding to feel like a special date night for our guests—a chance to dress up, relax, and fully enjoy the celebration. We truly understand that arranging childcare isn’t always easy, and your presence means so much to us. If you find it difficult to secure care and need to bring your little one along, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to chat and make sure you feel comfortable joining us.

Question

Dress code

Answer

We warmly invite guests to join us in cocktail attire with a hint of winter elegance. Rich jewel tones—such as deep sapphire, royal amethyst, icy green, or dark red—are lovely for the season, as are classic shades of brown, gray, and black. As our bridesmaids will be wearing emerald green, we kindly ask that this color be avoided. Most importantly, please wear attire that makes you feel confident and comfortable as we gather to celebrate this special day together.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

The sooner the better! We would enjoy a response no later than November 8th.

Question

Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

No, there will be no hotel blocks. The camp offers cabins, yurts, and other rooms. We do ask that those rooms are saved for close family members who have to travel a long distance, and our bridal party. On the travel section We have a nearby hotel listed as well as nearby towns with more options.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, upon arriving at the venue there are several spots for parking. Handicap parking is also available.

Question

What time do I arrive?

Answer

Guests can plan on arriving by 2:30pm. Please try to arrive on time! The ceremony begins at 3:00pm. Oregon weather can be unpredictable during the winter months, be prepared for snow and ice.

Question

Gifts and Registry?

Answer

At this time we already have everything we could ask for. We do have a spot to contribute towards our honeymoon if you wish.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We have picked out a wonderful photographer to photograph our moments. We would love to have phones away and silenced during the ceremony. We gather to celebrate the moment and we want everyone to be present. After the ceremony feel free to take photos please just be courteous to our photographer.

Question

What can I expect at the venue?

Answer

Our celebration will take place at a beautiful campground setting. Please be mindful that the terrain includes gravel, dirt paths, and uneven walkways, which may be affected by snow or ice depending on the weather. In addition, a river runs through the grounds. For those attending with little ones, we kindly ask that they be supervised closely at all times to ensure everyone’s safety.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Smoking is permitted only within the venue’s designated areas. We kindly request that all guests make use of the provided areas and dispose of items properly to help us maintain a clean and welcoming environment for everyone.
