“We’re getting married!!” And we are excited to celebrate this special day with all of you. We can’t thank you enough for being apart of this moment.

Infinite and I both enjoy the color black. It is a color that symbolizes elegance, strength, wealth, and has many other positive associations. While you all join us to celebrate our union, we ask that you wear black to promote all the positive associated with our favorite color as a couple.

Our journey dates way back to 2003, when we were freshmen in high school. Infinite had someone ask me for my number. Of course I played hard to get but gave up the digits anyway. He was new to the area, and his New York accent had me at hello. We would talk on the phone for hours everyday after school. He told me back then he was going to marry me, but who would have ever thought it would come true. In high school, Infinite would walk me to class everyday. Our high school relationship came to an end after he had me late for class on a few occasions, which landed us both in ISS. I was a good kid and couldn’t handle being in trouble so I had to let him go. ✌🏾✌🏾 Fast forward to several years later, somehow or another we managed to cross paths every so often. It seemed as if every couple of years Infinite would always find a way to reach out to me; most of the time through social media. On a few occasions we would unintentionally bump into each other in the most random places. Each time he tried to play it smooth and slide his way back into my life but I wasn’t having it at the time. Well, one day Infinite finally got lucky. We both had just ended serious relationships. We found a friend in one another which allowed us to talk, vent, laugh, and just be kind to each other. We found ourselves talking on the phone all night just like in high school. At this time neither of us were looking for a relationship, we both just needed a safe place to be free and silly. A few months after daily phone conversations, we agreed to meet up. We started hanging out which reignited our old flame from high school. It’s safe to say he knew all along what he wanted. After a little over a year of dating, Infinite popped the question to be his forever Queen. Now we share a beautiful daughter together named A’Riyah Latise Allen.

It was cute and simple. He asked my son Jordan for permission first. Jordan gave him the okay to proceed with his plans. Together, they approached me one night in the kitchen. Jordan presented me with the ring while Infinite got down on one knee to confess his love. Of course, I said yes.
