"We found love in a hopeless place". We jokingly sing that song when people ask us how we met because we met while we were both working at Acadia Hospital. We spent a many nights driving around talking about life and where it would take us, not knowing it would take us on a journey together. We fell in love while on a trip in Stowe, Vermont, drinking craft beers on the front lawn of the Trapp Family Lodge.

Let's just say Tiffany is a bit impatient. Douglas bought the ring in October 2017 and kept saying he was "waiting for the right time". The right time came on April 30, 2018 while we were on vacation in Bermuda, sitting on Clearwater Beach on Cooper's Island. Neither of us are exactly sure of the words that were said, but the most important word that was said was "YES!".
