Derek sent me a friend request on Facebook, and this was at the time of waving, on messenger; so I kept getting these notifications to wave at him, I went to click on the notification and IT WAVED! So I Instantly apologized for waving and we just started talking. We talked for about a month before deciding to go on a date. On our first date, Derek had no heat in his little white ranger, but refused to take my car; of course right, so we went in his freezing cold truck. We decided to eat at the Two Black Dogs in Fryeburg. They weren’t there long. They were out of just about everything, my salad consisted of Lettuce, Cucumber, and Cheese! Derek’s jaw dropped when he ordered a burger and I told the waitress “No tomatoes” he couldn’t believe I remembered he hates tomatoes from just talking! We agreed that, that had to have been the worse date either of us had ever been on! We also agreed that we needed a redo! Derek Officially asked me out on March 24th, 2018, it was the day of my Uncle Harold’s Funeral/Celebration of Life. I had called Derek and told him I needed some company, and someone to talk to other than my family. He didn’t really know what was going on. He met my entire family that night, and still asked me out! Plus, he is so handsome, and funny, and sweet, how could I say no!! About 3 months later, The day after Derek’s 20th birthday, we found out we were pregnant with our first son; Oliver Dean! God had a plan for us all along, may not have been in order, but it’s been perfect for us!🤍
Cash Bar!
Unfortunately, due to making the wedding smaller, and more intimate, we had to remove the kiddos.. there’s a lot, and we just couldn’t imagine our day without the adults we invited!
