We're Getting Married!

We met on the campus of Edwards College in the year 2013. I was a Freshman and he was a Senior. David would ride around campus supporting the local teams and events and spotted me in the crowds and sent a volleyball teammate of mine over to me to tell me that he was interested and thought I was very beautiful. He would come to my volleyball games and cheer for me in the stands until I finally gave in and went on a date with him. And it was love ever since.

On the way back from our Spring Break Cruise to the Bahamas, we stop in the town of St. Augustine, Florida. We had just heard the news of schools and business being closed down due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. However, when we arrived back home in Jacksonville, Florida I was taken to my mom house as a distraction where Dave then told me he was going to the store. My mom told me to get dress because we were going to a jewelry party she then ask me to stop by my house so that she could use the restroom. As I open the door I was met by the song "You Are" by Charlie Wilson. As I walked deeper into the living room there was Dave along with the rest of our close family and friends on one knee asking me to be his wife forever. I cried uncontrollably while saying yes.
