Marietta Square is one of the BEST old town squares surrounding Atlanta. It is bustling with people. There are shops, great restaurants, pubs, art galleries, events & outdoor concerts. There are several historic homes that offer bed & breakfast accommodations as well as places to stay through Airbnb.

This is actually a lovely, historic (& reasonably-priced) bed & breakfast. It is located .3 miles (7 minute walk) straight down Church Street to the Strand Theatre venue and Marietta Square. Very convenient. This would be our first suggestion

Comparatively priced, this big beautiful hotel is about a 5 minute drive or a 15 min walk to The Strand Theatre. Located off of Powder Springs Road, this hotel is located far back from the road. To walk you would simply head north, cross right over Powder Springs Rd into Marietta Square.
